May 2024

Austin Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC) awards DMA Development Company, LLC (DMA), the top scoring applicant, under the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the development of 6909 Ryan Drive.

Fall 2024

Design team (Nelsen Partners) engaged.

2024-2025

Various concepts presented by design team to DMA, AHFC, CapMetro, and Advisory Committee members regarding site layout, unit types, connectivity to Crestview Station.

November 2025-Spring 2026

Design team meets with Development Services Department through early design consultation process to review initial site plan.

December 2025

DMA and AHFC execute the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), which will be the primary governing document for the partnership.

May 2026

Initial Site Plan and Renderings

This site plan contemplates:

  • 5-story residential buildings with the exception of the Amenity Building/ Public Pavillion in the center of the site plan

  • Total unit count of 300 units

  • 3.5-story parking garage (gray area) that will accomodate 194 vehicles

  • Nearly an acre of public parkland as well as nearly 0.5-acre of public space (sidewalks, pavillion, space for Red Line Parkway Initiative extension and future transit plaza)

  • At-grade crossing (top right of site) to connect to exisiting or potentially extended Cresview Station
